The Isle of Man is a Self Governing Island within the Crown Protectorate of the United Kingdom.
It is 33 miles long and 12 miles wide and has a population of approximately 73,000 people.
It is situated in the Irish Sea between Great Britain and Ireland.
As the Island is Self Governing it is responsible for its own internal legislation tax
regime
and financial regulatory system. Consequently an environment exists where banking, insurance and
other financial institutions can operate independently within a properly regulated fiscal system.
This has lead to the Island having established
itself as a leading UK Offshore Financial Centre with links internationally.

As a result of the Islands Financial Status and reputation the population is steadily increasing and
the Isle of Man Government is investing in major infrastructure projects to cater for this increase -
able to do so by the consequent tax income generated.
The Isle of Man has as much to offer in natural beauty as financial opportunity and large areas of its
countryside remain underdeveloped and protected. This in turn offers an enviable quality of life.
